Green Zebra Jasper

Zebra Stone, characterized by its distinct banding that mimics the stripes of a zebra, is a unique stone formed through a combination of geological processes. These stripes are the result of multilayered sedimentation that has been subjected to high temperatures and pressures within the Earth’s crust, which are then compacted over time. Following its formation, natural elements like wind and water erosion, as well as the abrasion from other stones, contribute to its hard and dense nature, polishing and revealing its striking striped patterns.
